The Macon County Park, once known as the Macon County Fairgrounds is located on U.S. Highway 63 South, across from the YMCA. The Park hosts  Horse Shows, the Old Time Flywheel Reunion,  One of the best Derby's in the State of Missouri  "Best of the Best" Demolition Derby, the Macon Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting, Four (4) Wildlife Banquets, Rotary's Annual Shrimp Fest, Macon County Cattlemen's Banquet, Knights of Columbus Fundraiser, Save-A-Rack Fundraiser,the Crossroad Cruisers Car Show and many wedding receptions and business meetings.   

The Park is one of the largest Park's in Macon County with a  covered Grandstand that seats over 2,000 people.  The Expo Center is a 10,000 sq. ft. building used for many different events.  The newly renovated Floral Hall is a smaller version of the Expo Center.  There are 100 camp sites, 30 of them with full hook-ups, (sewer) all with Electric and Water.  Showers are available for our campers.  (A dump station is located on the Northwest corner of the park for our campers if a camp site with sewer service is not available).  Charge is only $15.00 per night to camp. There are 5 covered shelter houses, 2 playgrounds, a horse arena and 2 Flywheel Museums.  

 

The buildings and shelter houses are rented for Weddings, Reunions, Banquets, Graduations, Corporate Meetings and many other occasions.
